DO YOU REMEMBER DUCK HUNT..........

Back in the day, I remember playing "Duck Hunt" as a kid on the Nintendo entertainment system, trying to shoot at every duck that flies by and aiming at the beaver that pops up from the ground. Back then, I guess motion technology did exist, only you were looking at 255,000 colored pixels on screen.

This year, Sony Computer Entertainment, recently release and accessory that will help with your inner child needs. THE SHARPSHOOTER.

For only, $39.99, this plastic gun that is assisted along with the PlayStation Move controller, helps the player to be in a more visceral, real-life experience, other than using the regular PS3 controller.

This Accessory will provide the player an awesome experience as it allows you to shoot as if you were on the battlefield, with an attachment of a magazine slab, you will feel like you are shooting.

Some games that have taken advantage of this technology include:

KILLZONE 3

One of the Sony's prestigious titles comes out with a bang. This comeback of the KILLZONE series that have been a revolution since the release on the PlayStation 2. As the 3rd venture into the series, players will be able to witness 3D visuals, go-online with PlayStation Network Support, and use the revolutionary, SharpShooter. With a little bit of customization and tweaking, it takes a while to get use to fighting off enemies or pulling around corner, but it is memorable. While holding this in front of your T.V.- you will feel like you on the battlefield fighting alongside with the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance Soldiers.

Dead Space: Extraction

This PlayStation 3 Version of the sci-fi horror epic franchise makes a comeback in a visual stunning way. With the help of the Navigation Controller and works well along with the PlayStation Move Controller, the SharpShooter makes it easier to shoot down enemies that  come coming up from nowhere. The storyline involves a group of space colonists who are aboard the Aegis VII, who are suddenly have to survive when a becomes infected with a deadly alien force, the Necromorphs. The downside of this shooter is that you 'll be standing for along  periods of time, waiting until something comes , which is a little back breaking.

THE SHOOT

This game is considered one of those games, that has nothing special, but it's great for a party. There's nothing special in the visuals, but as the game-play is the main focus in this title. You will be battling to take out cartoonist plywood cowboys or survive destroying aliens by the dozen. At the end of the day, your arm will hurt from progressing into earning points and unlocking a host of achievements.

BULLETSTORM

Systems: Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC
Rating: Mature
People Can Fly / Epic Games / EA

We've all witnessed a pretty epic year of mind-blowing first-person shooters this past year and I have a feeling it's only to get better. The world was shocked with the change of the unprecedented sequel, HALO: REACH, a major comeback brought the dominant series, CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS back to its fans and brought people to their knees. KILLZONE 3, Sony PlayStation 3's futile and catastrophic franchise, made a grand comeback introducing 3D technology and The Sharpshooter, which made players they feel they were on the battlefield.

Many of these games have been producing epic experiences online and offers concrete & surreal story lines to keep the gamers indulged.

Release on February 22nd 2011, this visceral experience, takes the player from a typical first person shooter and places them into a world where the more you kill, squash, blow up, destroy, and annihilate will earn you more points.

This does sound gruesome with the game-play, but it will allow the player to be more creative and to play harder in order to earn more points.

In BULLETSTORM, you are Grayson Hunt, the team of special ops soldiers in the 20th Century on planet Earth. The world is filled with endless enemies that range from a variety of gang members, mutation plants and an entourage of creatures that are chilling.

What you have to do is to kill everyone and eliminate the general, who has destroyed planet Earth and put it in it's ruin.

The single player campaign keeps you engaged until the end, combined with the on-line challenges and stunning co-operative gameplay.

Thanks to the support of Epic Games, this first-person shooter feels like an Unreal Tournament that has been modeled and polished with the sophisticated art style of the future. Thanks to the help of a well-known Polish Studio, People can Fly, the minds behind the great Pain Killer, this game is worth a try to say the least.

Typical first person shooters, the player has a variety of weapons from, in Bullertstorm, the player is rewarded for doing something unexplainable, leading to a bundle of achievements and  many, many points.

Some examples include throwing enemies of a cliff, blowing heads with a grenade launcher, using an "energy leash" to throw them into the air and blast them with a four-barrel shotgun. In total, you'll have to achieve a total of 100 "Skillshots", which will be the fun and challenging part.

With stunning visuals, tight controls and a refreshing story, this first-person shooter will leave players wanting more.
